Art and Lori Johnson
Subsequent years at the Catalina Island Festival of Art for next eight years running from 1999 and 2007,
Art has been awarded numerous honors, including First Place in 2004 and again in 2006 and 2007. As
his wife Lori says "It is a pleasure exhibiting our glass creations in Catalina, being in the company of
some of the best Artists in the World. Everyone should attend this awesome Art Show... its the third
weekend in September. Art also celebrates his birthday during the show, so it's a special time for us
every year!."

Art has enjoyed the years of creating custom designs for unlimited types of glass needs: working on
commercial buildings, custom built homes, restaurants (most recent The Pancake Cottage on Catalina
Island), and World Championship awards. He is thankful that his hard work is well received and
recognized and rewarded for his individual award winning glass pieces.
His influences in art glass designs began in the early 1970's as he accompanied his Uncle Ken Lane in
Florida building Disney World's Art Glass Masterpieces, a seven year project.
After 30 + years of experience, Art is proudly offering glass carvings, cast glass and stained glass work
of art creations. There is no limit to the creative ideas and jobs his customers request.
Many Artists will create the glass pieces and employ another company to complete the installation. The
unique and awesome side of Art is that he not only produces awesome glass work with carvings, cast
glass, and stained glass, but he can install each job himself. No distance is too far, and no job is too
great.
Very popular demands are for the all glass, heavy shower doors with carvings designed to the
customer's request. In our Art Glass Studio, we have many portfolio books that clients will browse
through, getting a feel for what they would like Art to create, by seeing the photos of his completed
work.
Even though each piece created is custom hand designed and intricately detailed to completion, Works
Of Art Johnson can duplicate a likeness for most anything.
Experience teamed with creativity has built the great reputation of being "one of the best Designers /
Artists in the industry".

Even though many of Art's customers are referrals from contractors, interior designers, and architects,

Catalina is very Special for Art and Lori. Feb 12, 2000 they were married on the
"Catalina Jet" Catamaran from Long Beach to Avalon by Minister Ann Marshall with a
group of over 150 friends and family. More photos of the Wedding Day festivities will
